Doug Lux founded the company, and it remains family-owned today. From the beginning, our philosophy has been simple: do the job right and treat people with honesty and respect.
Four decades of floors
It started with a simple promise
Do the job right, give people straight answers, and stand behind the work. That promise carried D-Lux from a small Milwaukie shop in 1980 to one of the Portland area’s most trusted flooring names.
We’ve installed, sanded, and refinished floors in thousands of homes and businesses. Through all of it we’ve stayed family-owned and kept the craft in-house.
